What is Utopia? – Matt Rader and Tara Colborne and presented by Highland Secondary International Baccalaureate students

‘What is Utopia’? is a range of sensory idea(l)s coordinated by Matt Rader and Tara Colborne, and presented by Highland Secondary International Baccalaureate students. With an emphasis on young people, it allows the participant to explore questions like “Does an ideal built form exist? What would it feel like, smell like, sound like?”  Through the interactive display you are invited to touch utopia, smell it, feel and hear utopia always asking yourself  “What is Utopia to you?” The impetus for social change can begin with a sensory awareness of how our built environment affects how we experience and feel about our world, whether conscious or subconscious.
